What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer - Backend in our Ho Chi Minh City hub, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while working on challenging problems related to our web agents and underlying platforms. We are looking for software engineers who are eager to develop their skills, contribute to a dynamic team, and help shape the future of web agent capabilities, demonstrating a strong ability to independently solve problems, take initiative, and deliver results.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications for our AI web agents and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior engineers and AI/ML specialists, to understand requirements and contribute to new features, taking initiative in identifying and addressing challenges.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, actively applying best practices and contributing to coding standards, with a focus on delivering robust solutions.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and continuously improve coding skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to AI agent performance or reliability, performing root-cause analyses and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to automated testing efforts and learn about continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, showing a bias for action in improving development processes.
• Integrate technical components across the stack, gaining exposure to front-end UIs, data stores, and third-party services in the context of web automation, while independently seeking to understand system interactions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, web automation, and distributed systems through learning and mentorship, taking initiative to expand your knowledge.

What We’re Looking For

We seek engineers who are curious, proactive, and hungry to learn. You don't need to have deep AI or automation experience, we care more about your problem-solving ability, technical curiosity, and growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated examples of independent problem-solving and initiative.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies, and a proactive approach to learning more.
• Eager to learn about cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and data stores.
• Exposure to containerization (e.g. Docker) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) concepts.
• Exposure to web automation or scraping frameworks (e.g. Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium) and browser-agent patterns.
• Awareness of CI/CD principles and testing concepts.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions and seek guidance, coupled with a strong ability to work independently to find solutions.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
• A passion for building software and a desire for continuous learning and improvement, demonstrating initiative in personal and professional growth.
• Enthusiasm for AI-driven automation and the potential of web agents, with a bias for action in exploring new possibilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
