[HN/HCM] Senior Backend Engineer / Software Engineer (Backend)

What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs serving high-volume, mission-critical workloads
• Build robust, high-performance systems with a strong focus on reliability, security, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Take ownership of core backend components, from design to production deployment and monitoring
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy
• Improve system performance, observability, and resilience through continuous optimization
• Review code, mentor teammates, and help raise overall engineering standards

What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar
• Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and distributed systems
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and cloud platforms
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high ownership
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing or operating large-scale, high-traffic systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to system performance tuning, monitoring, and observability tools
• Experience working in product-focused or SaaS environments
