What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend in our Ho Chi Minh City hub, you will play a key role in designing and implementing critical components of our web agents and underlying platforms such as scalable remote browsing and anti-bot stealth. You will work on challenging problems that directly impact our product vision and business success. We are looking for seasoned engineers who demonstrate strong independent problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to driving initiatives, and a solid track record of delivering impactful projects from conception to production

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to and often lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable software applications for our AI web agents and core platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML specialists and product managers, to translate requirements into technical designs and deliver impactful features that enhance agent capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in performance, security, and observability for agent-related systems.
• Actively participate in and conduct code reviews, contributing to coding standards and the adoption of shared libraries and frameworks relevant to agent development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to AI agent performance or reliability, performing root-cause analyses and implementing effective solutions.
• Develop and enhance automated testing strategies (unit, integration, load) and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for critical agent and platform components.
• Independently design and implement integrations between your components and various systems across the stack, including front-end UIs, data stores, message queues, and third-party services, with a strong understanding of their implications for web automation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in AI, web automation, and distributed systems, and share knowledge with the team.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrable professional backend development experience, with significant contributions to mission-critical services and systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g. Python, Go, Java) and practical command of front-end technologies (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript) for browser-based interactions and agent control.
• Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and a variety of data stores (e.g. Postgres, Redis, S3).
• Strong understanding of containerization (e.g. Docker), orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) concepts.
• Proven experience with web automation or scraping frameworks (e.g. Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium) and browser-agent patterns.
• Deep appreciation and practical experience with CI/CD best practices and observability strategies (logging, metrics, distributed tracing).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges, a proactive approach to driving initiatives, and clear, effective communication across teams.
• A strong passion for AI-driven automation and a desire to help Our Company push the boundaries of what web agents can do.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, or professional working proficiency in English.
